This a another beautiful fine piece of DOU- A Food Container pot used by the Royal Imperial Court to serve the Shang Kings and royal family.The DOU container is still very intact with soil unearthed in the early 1990.
The container has a handle design of two ancient chinese tigers. The skin of the tiger is still fine and visible.
The surface of the container has the design of ancient Chinese Pheonixs.
This is a two piece set.
1) Food Container cover
2) Container with stand
Diameter : About 22cm
Height : 32cm
Weight: 2.0 Kgs!
The cover also can be used as another serving plate when over-turn it.
